We hope you had a fun and safe Fiesta. April was a busy month in Tobin Hill!
On April 18th neighbors and City Officials from the Transportation and Capital Improvements department, as well as Councilman Treviño’s office gathered at Tycoon Flats for the second meeting to discuss the N. St. Mary’s Improvement Bond. Click here for more information.
On May 1st, Councilman Treviño gave the State of the City Center address at the 6th Annual Luncheon organized by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Members of the THCA Board were honored to attend with Metropolitan Methodist Hospital, one of the sponsors of the event. The Councilman highlighted the many projects happening throughout downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods, with a special focus on art in the city. Click here to view photos of the event.
At the Luncheon, Councilman Treviño announced a new app, Go See SA! The app will feature tours, plazas, churches, parks, businesses and more. From the website, “The app will provide an interactive and entertaining way to learn about our history.” Click here to learn more about this free app and for links to download it to your mobile device.
Finally, we’d like to announce the winner of our Fiesta Wreath Contest:
