Tobin Hill Community Association’s most recent public meeting was March 22nd. We heard from City Planner, Garrett Phillips, who gave an update on the SATomorrow Comprehensive Plan for the Midtown Regional Center. He spend about 45 minutes discussing the draft of the plan, taking input, and answering questions. The draft plan is in the final two phases and public input is welcome and encouraged. To view the most recent draft or sign up for updates, please visit satomorrow.com
Both the Historic and Zoning Committees gave updates at the meeting. Ben Fairbank of the Zoning Task Force asked neighbors to be on the lookout for the large yellow rezoning signs that are posted by the city when a property is applying to be rezoned. If you notice a sign, you can call the number posted on it for more information. Please also contact Ben Fairbank to let him know where the sign is located: firstname.lastname@example.org
On March 27th, neighbors and City officials gathered at Tycoon Flats to discuss the proposed improvements for N. St. Mary’s Street. There was great input from the neighborhood on how neighbors would like to see the bond money used in our area. There will be another meeting about the St. Mary’s Bond Improvements on April 18th.
